You or the other driver may call 911 from any mobile phone or if a passerby stops his or her vehicle then they can call the police as well. The sooner that you call the police, the sooner help will arrive and this could save lives.

The fourth step that you should follow in an Auto Accident is to get as much information about the other driver as possible such as the other driver’s name, address, insurance information and policy number, and license number.

The fifth step that you should follow in an Auto Accident is to obtain as much information as you can from any witnesses such as names, addresses, and verbal and written statements. You will also want to obtain this information from any passengers that were in the vehicles involved in the Auto Accident. If you keep this information in your car along with some paper and a writing instrument, then it may be easier for you to remember these important steps and have the materials necessary to gather this important information.
