Take as many photos and movies as possible from every angle.

It is also helpful to note the following information:

1.) The date and time of the accident;

2.) The Location of the accident;

3.) The type of road (highway, residential area, freeway, interstate, etc.);

4.) The type of road (gravel, asphalt, etc.);

5.) The speed of your vehicle and speed of any other vehicles;

6.) The speed limit;

7.) The direction of all vehicles, whether or not your vehicle or other vehicles were turning and if so in what direction, whether the other driver or drivers properly signaled such turns;

8.) Whether you or the other driver or drivers had lights on and whether the accident occurred at night, during the day, and whether it was light or dark outside, or overcast;

9.) The name and contact information of the police officer or officers at the scene of the accident and the accident report number(s) and where to obtain a copy of the accident report; and

10.) Note and record any and all other pertinent and important facts and information at the accident.
